K. Guller Insulation performs seven mechanical insulation services for commercial and industrial projects: HVAC insulation, pipe and plumbing insulation, mechanical equipment insulation, heat and frost insulation, firestopping, acoustic insulation, and removable insulation blankets. All work is performed by union Heat & Frost Insulators across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, on new construction, retrofit, and maintenance scopes.
Duct wrap, duct liner, and rigid board insulation for supply, return, outside-air, and exhaust duct systems. Sized to IECC and ASHRAE 90.1 R-value requirements, with vapor-sealed exteriors on cooled ducts to prevent condensation.
Fiberglass, elastomeric, and cellular glass insulation for domestic hot and cold water, hydronic heating and chilled water, steam and condensate, and refrigerant piping — with PVC, aluminum, or stainless jacketing where the spec calls for it.
Insulation for boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, tanks, pumps, and air handlers — including board, blanket, and sprayed systems with finished jacketing for mechanical rooms and exposed locations.
The core trade: hot-service systems (steam, high-temperature hot water) insulated for energy and personnel protection, and cold-service systems (chilled water, refrigeration) insulated with continuous vapor barriers to stop condensation and corrosion under insulation.
UL-listed penetration firestop systems that restore the hourly rating where pipes, ducts, conduit, and cable trays pass through fire-rated walls and floors — documented per system for the AHJ and life-safety closeout.
Duct liner, acoustic lagging, and barrier treatments that cut mechanical equipment and duct-borne noise into occupied spaces — hospitals, classrooms, offices, and multifamily.
Custom-measured, reusable blankets and jackets for valves, flanges, strainers, and equipment that need repeated maintenance access. Off in minutes, back on in minutes — no more bare valves after the first service call.
A typical scope covers Division 07 and Division 23 insulation spec sections — 07 21 00 (thermal insulation), 07 84 00 (firestopping), 22 07 00 (plumbing insulation), and 23 07 00 (HVAC insulation) — bid from your drawings and delivered on your schedule.
